3-year old Braylen Noble found dead in pool after extensive 6 day search

Braylen Noble was a 3 year-old non-verbal autistic boy who went missing on September 4th from his home at 3415 Gibraltar Heights Drive in Toledo, Ohio. According to police Braylen’s mother, Dajnae Cox, initially claimed that he may have fallen out of a third story window.  Braylen was first reported missing by his grandmother who was staying in the apartment with his mother at the time of his disappearance. Braylen was found 6-days later on September 9, 2020 in the drain of the Gibraltar Heights Apartment’s pool. The pool had been searched several times prior to Braylen’s body being discovered

Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz Declares Masks Mandatory in all Public Places

Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz issued a declaration Thursday that “all residents of Toledo should wear face coverings when in public”. Toledo Police Officer Killed In The Line Of Duty

Officer Anthony Dia 26, was shot and killed while responding to a “check the safety call” at 12:11 a.m. on July 4th, regarding an intoxicated man in the parking lot of the Home Depot hardware store located at 1035 W Alexis Rd, Toledo, Ohio. Officer Dia was shot in the chest with a single round by 57-year old Edward Henry, Dia succumbed to his injuries a short time later at the Toledo Hospital. Mud Hens 2020 Season Cancelled due to COVID-19

The Toledo Mud Hens 2020 season has been cancelled.  A message on the Toledo Mud Hen’s website explains that “Major League Baseball (MLB) informed Minor League Baseball (MiLB) that it will not provide its affiliate Minor League teams with players for the 2020 season. As a result, there will be no Minor League Baseball season in 2020”.  In a heartfelt statement the Mud Hen’s explain why it happened and what they miss about baseball. The City of Toledo recorded 11 murders between June 6, and July 1. An average of one murder every two days. During the same month Toledo experienced unusually high temperatures. 4 Toledo City Council Member’s Arrested by FBI in Bribery Investigation

Toledo City Council Member’s Tyrone Riley, Yvnone Harper, Larry Sykes, and Gary Johnson were arrested today by the FBI for allegedly accepting bribes for official acts. The FBI began its investigation in March 2018 after receiving a tip from a local business owner who was arrested for immigration violations. FBI agents were present at the Toledo city council offices at One Government Center.  Federal charges of bribery and extortion carry a maximum sentence of 10 years, and 20 years in prison, respectively.  The full complaint: FBI News Conference:

A non-violent protest in memory of Minneapolis police murder victim George Floyd turned ugly Saturday May 30th, 2020 when Toledo Police, in response to plastic bottles being thrown from the crowd of protesters, began firing tear gas and rubber bullets.
